Welcome Home Mission
Est. 2012 – Ministry Partner of Watermark Community Church

but not Hopeless

Welcome Home!

Welcome Home is a gospel-centered homeless outreach ministry that seeks to introduce homeless men and women into a growing relationship with Christ that leads to transformation in all aspects of their life.

Our ministry strategy is simple – we believe the greatest gift a person can receive is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through faith alone. Each Sunday, members of the Welcome Home volunteer team provide transportation for the homeless members of the Dallas community to join us for the 9am service at Watermark Community Church. Following the service, we meet with our homeless guests for a spiritual discussion over a warm meal. We recognize there will be men and women who are so physically hungry, they will come solely for the meal; however, we purposefully use that time to corporately and individually engage them with the gospel.

Current Needs

We invite you, your family, your community group, or your friends to sponsor the meal for one of our Sunday gatherings. You can contribute funds for us to purchase the meal on your behalf, or you can cook or cater a meal of your choice. We encourage you to stay for our spiritual discussion and conversation with our homeless guests. Please expect to provide food for ~20 people.

Email welcomehomemission@gmail.com to sponsor a Sunday meal.

Each new homeless guest at Welcome Home is gifted a bible from our collection. To continue offering this gift, we rely on bible donations. We accept bibles for all ages, study bibles, gently used bibles, and more. To donate, please email welcomehomemission@gmail.com.

Our hope is to provide toiletries and other essential items to homeless guests that join us on Sundays. This includes toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and more. If you have new, unused toiletries that you would like to donate to our inventory, please contact aprilsemail@gmail.com.

Welcome Home has graciously been gifted an 8 person van to help transport our homeless guests on Sundays from the Salvation Army to Watermark. Unfortunately, we only have resources to make one trip, which means our transportation abilities are limited. We are looking for volunteers who can provide personal transportation for our Welcome Home friends who are no longer at the Salvation Army but who regularly attend Welcome Home. We also accept monetary donations towards gas and vehicle maintenance/repairs. If interested, please contact welcomehomemission@gmail.com.

Our Welcome Home “closet” offers all forms of clothing and shoes in all sizes. Similar to our toiletry offerings, we offer clothing to our homeless guests on Sundays. If you have new or gently used clothing/footwear that you would like to donate, please email aprilsemail@gmail.com.
